Who is TXIOS?

 

TXIOS was founded in 2021 by Miguel Harth-Bedoya, Music Director Laureate, Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Felix Torres, Music and Artistic Director, Mesquite Symphony Orchestra, and John Toohey, former General Manager, Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra.

  • Individuals will be accepted to the Institute by competitive video audition.

  • The Institute Orchestra will comprise a full symphonic instrumentation of:

    • Flutes

    • Oboes / English Horn

    • Clarinets / Bass Clarinet

    • Bassoons

    • Horns

    • Trumpets

    • Trombones / Bass Trombone

    • Tuba

    • Percussion

    • Keyboards / Piano

    • Harp

    • Violins

    • Viola

    • Cellos

    • Double basses
