WHO is TXIOS?

The TEXAS INSTITUTE for ORCHESTRAL STUDIES (TXIOS) was founded by Miguel Harth-Bedoya, Music Director Laureate of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Felix Torres, Music and Artistic Director of the Mesquite Symphony Orchestra, and John Toohey, former General Manager of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra.

 

WHAT is TXIOS?

The Texas Institute for Orchestral Studies (TXIOS) is a summer academy for advanced musical study. TXIOS offers an intensive schedule of study and performance for pre-professional instrumentalists who are currently engaged in or who have completed most of their formal study.

 

WHEN is TXIOS?

The Institute’s ORCHESTRAFEST24 is two days:
